Super Bowl LXI and Valentine’s Day share one evening in 2027. This page holds the printables that evening needs: a squares board for the room, valentine cards for the class, a plan for the couple, plus the dates, checked against the league’s own calendar.
What can I make here for the Super Bowl Valentine?
- A squares board with hearts on it. 100 squares for the room or 25 for the two of you, names typed into the squares, a random number draw, and the Super Bowl LXI date printed on the sheet. Make the squares board
- Football valentine cards for the class. Type one child’s name, pick a football pun, and print the full set: 8, 12 or 24 cards per sheet, cut lines included. Make the class cards
- A game plan for two. The squares board’s third mode prints a one-page plan for Saturday 13 February, the date-night evening, with write-in lines for dinner, the small gift and the snacks. Open the board and pick the plan
The whole job (the dates, the conflict, and how one household does both) is in the guide Super Bowl on Valentine’s Day 2027: how to plan for both.
| Printable | What you print | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Squares board | a 100-square party grid or a 25-square pair grid, hearts, typed names, drawn numbers, the LXI date block | the room on game day, or the two of you |
| Class cards | 8, 12 or 24 football valentines per sheet, one typed name, one pun | the class party, the cousins, the team |
| Game plan for two | a one-page Saturday-13th plan with write-in lines | the couple splitting the weekend |
When is Super Bowl LXI, and is it really on Valentine’s Day?
The date, from the league itself:
- The game: Sunday 14 February 2027. The NFL’s operations calendar says it in one line: “February 14. Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, California)” (operations.nfl.com, checked 5 October 2026).
- The venue: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California. The league’s own news pages repeat the pairing: “Super Bowl LXI is set for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Feb. 14, 2027” (nfl.com, read 5 October 2026).
- The collision: the Super Bowl sits on the second Sunday of February every year, and in 2027 that Sunday is the 14th, Valentine’s Day. It is the first Super Bowl ever played on the holiday, and the game airs on ESPN and ABC (Wikipedia’s Super Bowl LXI page, league-adjacent corroboration, read 5 October 2026).
- The clock: the kickoff time is not announced as of 5 October 2026. Nothing on this page prints one: every plan here works whenever the game runs.
- The teams: not decided as of 5 October 2026. The board prints with write-in team lines, because the AFC and NFC champions do not exist yet.
Party for the group or date night for two?
One evening can be both, if the couple claims Saturday.
| The party, Sunday 14 February | Date night, Saturday 13 February | |
|---|---|---|
| The room | the whole crew, snacks for a crowd | the two of you |
| The board | 100 squares, names typed in, numbers drawn | 25 squares, one board, two people |
| The print | the board, one sheet, true size | the one-page game plan |
| The job | every guest holds a square all game | the evening stays yours until Sunday |
The board serves both shapes. The party mode prints the classic 10 × 10 grid for a roomful of names; the pair mode prints 25 squares, five drawn digits down each side, sized for two people who each claim half. And if the two of you would rather give Valentine’s its own evening, the plan page puts Saturday the 13th on paper: dinner, the small gift, the snacks for Sunday, one line each.
How does a squares board work?
The classic party game, in three moves:
- Fill the squares. Each guest claims squares by name: type the names and the board places them, one per square, none shared.
- Draw the numbers. When the board is full, one random draw sets the digits. The button shuffles 0–9 down each side; write nothing by hand and argue with nobody about who drew what.
- Read the score. After each quarter, the last digit of each team’s score picks the winning square: row digit for one team, column digit for the other. Four reads, four winners, and the board stays on the fridge between quarters.
The teams are written in on game day, and the lines print blank because the champions are not decided yet. Who wins what between friends is the room’s own business; the paper stays out of it.
What about the class valentines?
The class party is its own Valentine’s job, and it collides with game-day week in 2027: schools exchange cards on or near Friday the 12th, two days before both occasions. The football valentine card maker types the job out: one child’s name prints in the “from” line of every card, one football pun carries the message, and the sheet does the rest with 8 big cards, 12 mid-size or 24 small ones per sheet, on A4 or US Letter.
A class of 24 needs one sheet at 24-up, two at 12-up or three at 8-up (the maker’s own sheet arithmetic), printed true to size with cut lines every card. Nothing to sign twenty-four times unless the child wants to.
When should I print?
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Class cards | late January | classes exchange on or near Friday 12 February |
| Squares board drafted | the week of the game | names fill in as guests commit |
| Numbers drawn | when the board is full | the draw is the last step, always |
| Test print | a few days before | paper and ink surprises belong before the day |
The teams and the kickoff time are the league’s announcements to make. The printing is yours, and it takes minutes: a test print is the only deadline on this page.
