Soccer Lineup Maker With Pictures

Runs in your browser · nothing is uploaded

Add team photos all at once
Drop, paste or pick several photos here — they fill the empty player circles in order, and each one can still be swapped or removed on its row.

Photos are optional — the sheet works with names only too. Nothing is uploaded: photos stay in this browser and are gone when you close the tab.

You know the faces; the sheet on the clipboard usually does not. This tool makes the line-up sheet that does: pick the game format your league plays (5 v 5 to 11 v 11), pick a youth formation (how the players are spread over the pitch), type each player's name and shirt number, and add a photo for any player — one at a time or all at once. The photos print inside each player's circle on the pitch and again in a team list under it, so the sheet works on the notice board and in the group chat, not just for the coach holding it. Photos are optional: with names only you still get a complete line-up sheet.

The team sheet that names the faces

A classic line-up sheet answers who plays where. A sheet with pictures also answers who is who — for the parent volunteer standing in for a game, for the referee checking numbers against names, and for the notice board outside the changing room, where a sheet of faces tells the whole club who played that Sunday.

This tool draws both in one A4 page: the pitch with every player’s photo at their position, and “The team”, a list underneath where each player appears again with photo, shirt number, name and position. Print at “actual size” if your printer offers it, so the pitch marks keep their proportions; on US Letter paper, “fit to page” is the right choice.

Made for match morning, not for a laptop

You are usually doing this on a phone, ten minutes before kick-off or the evening before. So the photo step is one tap per player, or one multi-select for the whole team: pick a handful of photos from your gallery and they fill the empty player circles in squad order (the order of the rows on the sheet). Each circle can still be swapped or cleared on its own. The tool remembers names, numbers and formation in this browser for next Saturday — photos are deliberately not kept, because a phone gallery is personal and this sheet only needs them for the moment it is printed.

Honest limits

The sheet is soccer, in the formats youth leagues actually play (5 v 5 to 11 v 11). It prints one game at a time; if your league wants a written team sheet handed in, the roster on this sheet serves, but the plain line-up sheet generator is the same drawing without photos if your league’s rules are text-only. Nothing you type or pick on this page leaves your browser.

Step by step — formats, photos, print sizes — is in the guide to making a soccer lineup poster with player photos. For the whole match-morning folder, see the sports hub and the youth soccer game-day guide.

Questions

How do I add the players' pictures?

Tap the round button next to a player and pick a photo from your phone or computer — the photo fills that player's circle. Or use the 'Add team photos all at once' box: select several photos and they fill the players that don't have one yet, in squad order. Each photo can still be swapped or removed by tapping its circle.

Do the photos leave my phone or computer?

No. The photos are read, cropped to a circle and drawn onto the sheet entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and the photos are gone when you close the tab. Only the names, numbers and formation are remembered in this browser for next week.

Can I use the tool without photos?

Yes — photos are optional. Leave the circles empty and you get the same sheet with names and shirt numbers only, exactly like a classic line-up sheet.

Which game formats and formations does it support?

The youth ladder: 5 v 5 (under 7/8), 7 v 7 (under 9/10), 9 v 9 (under 11/12) and 11 v 11 (under 13 and older), each with the formations a youth coach actually uses. The player count always adds up: one goalkeeper plus the outfield lines named in the formation.

What does the printed sheet look like?

One A4 page, black on white, so it prints on any printer and survives the photocopier. The top carries team, opponent, date and kick-off; the middle is the pitch with every player's photo circle at their position; the bottom is 'The team' — a list with each player's photo, name, number and position.

Can I print a photo sheet for the whole season, not just one game?

For the end-of-season set — player cards, award certificates, a match-day poster and more from the same roster — use the Soccer Season Pack. This sheet stays free and unlimited.
